|
The overall objective of this project is to support the process of harmonising national statistical production with the EU Acquis.
The purpose of this contract is to improve compliance level of particular statistical areas with Acquis Communautaire and to provide adequate data and analysis for the purposes of facilitating policy decisions towards implementation of the pre-accession strategy and the adoption of the Acquis in statistics.
In this context, the Contractor shall provide various technical assistance services including development of several indexes in the field of business statistics, social statistics, macro-economic and environmental statistics, organization of local workshops, study visits and visibility conferences etc. to achieve the objectives of the contract.
